'Bachlorette’ duo in love in Boston | Boston Herald

It hasn’t taken long for the latest “Bachelorette” couple to begin appearing out in the open — and that includes a recent rendezvous in Boston. Becca Kufrin and her fiance, Garrett Yrigoyen, apparently enjoyed a weekend getaway in our city, just days after their engagement was made public.
Kufrin, who was the star of the ABC reality show’s most recent season, and her betrothed checked into the Revere Hotel Boston Common last weekend for what turned out to be a not-so-intimate stay. The couple, whom viewers just watched get engaged during “The Bachelorette” finale on Aug. 6, met up with a flock of fellow alums from the franchise, including “Bachelor in Paradise” cast member Tia Booth.
Booth was in town for an event at the [email protected] on Friday night and she kept the party going to celebrate her birthday. Her “Bachelor” buds Chelsea Roy, Caroline Lunny and Angela Amezcua were all on hand for the festivities and were joined by Kufrin and Yrigoyen, with the whole gang raging at The Grand on Saturday night.
While the lovebirds’ participation in Booth’s birthday bash might not seem like a big deal, true fans know that this reunion could be a sign that they’re putting all of that tension and controversy from “The Bachelorette” behind them. Booth crashed the recent go-round of the show, appearing in an episode and giving Kufrin her blessing to date her ex, Colton Underwood, who was one of the contestants. She later returned and rescinded the green light, claiming to still have feelings for the NFL tight end, who, side note, also used to date Needham-raised Olympian Aly Raisman.
Besides the group date in the Seaport, Kufrin and Yrigoyen did manage to squeeze in some alone time, sticking around and exploring the Hub as a pair until this past Monday. Even though they’ve left, they’ll be heading back to New England next month to make a formal appearance at Mohegan Sun, as part of the resort’s Reality Check series. The duo will post up at The Shops there on Sept. 28 starting at 7:30 p.m., when they’ll treat members of the public to a live Q&A and will sign pictures distributed to the crowd.
